As an environmental scientist and Ranger working in a Swiss nature protection NGO, I am privileged to exert my energy into working for the environment. After making the decision to cycle through two continents, it was clear that the trip would focus on nature and its protection. Where would we find biodiversity hotspots? What kind of species would we encounter? And most importantly, who will we meet working for nature protection in these countries?

On the journey through wetlands, grasslands and deserts, from oceans, along rivers into high mountain tops we seek out rare species and explore their habitats. We especially lay our focus on Rangers, as conservationists on the front line, to tell their stories. Read on and be inspired!
